Meals
This time, meals start with lunch on Sunday September 13th, 2026 and run through breakfast on Friday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the dining facility.
The Arrowmont dining facility is renowned for serving delicious and nutritious family-style meals buffet-style, allowing every attendee to select their own meal from a variety of fresh options.
Vegetarian & Gluten-free options are available and there is a question on the registration form to get an accurate number of attendees for these options.


Arrival and Departure
The main event registration opens on Sunday, September 13th, 2026 at 8 AM EST.
Everyone needs to depart campus by 9:30 AM EST on Friday 9/18/2026. No exceptions per Arrowmont policy, as they need to prepare for the following week’s students.
Shipping
If you are flying in, you can ship your heavier items to Arrowmont. Arrowmont’s shipping department is open till 3PM each day and you have extra time on Thursday to pack and ship your items. There is a self-service station with ample supplies of re-used boxes.
Housing options
Please note that all rooms and patios are designated as no-smoking. There are specifically designated outdoor smoking areas around the campus. No pets are allowed on campus.

Bill May Hall
Constructed in 2018, Bill May Hall features an elevator for handicapped access and a private bath in every room. A large screened porch with a fireplace provides a lovely place to hang out in the evening. There is also a Common Room on the second floor equipped with a refrigerator and kitchenette.
Bill May Hall offers the following options:
Single occupancy room, Queen size bed, private bathroom
Double occupancy room, Twin size bed, private bathroom –

Teachers House
The historic Stuart House is located behind the ceramic classrooms with convenient access to the main building through the library. Stuart House has a variety of room sizes with shared bathrooms : queen, single twin, double occupancy twin and triple occupancy twin. The first floor features a lounge, kitchenette, and a lovely porch with rocking chairs perfect for mingling and sharing of millinery ideas!
This house does not provide an elevator.

Staying off-campus
Although we encourage attendees to take advantage of the full millinery experience and build long-lasting friendships, there are plenty of lodging options in the Gatlinburg ,TN area. Please book early as MMU will be at the peak of the leaf-turning season.
Please note! There is a surcharge if you choose to stay off-campus. Our instructors are housed on Arrowmont Campus and to cover their accommodation and transportation costs, all attendees are encouraged to stay on campus. If attendees choose to stay elsewhere, their support in the form of a surcharge is still necessary to bring such world-class instructors to MMU.
